Refund Policy.
Plain-English summary of when we refund, how much, and how long it takes. The TL;DR: full refund inside 14 days if I haven't shipped meaningful work yet. After that, pro-rata based on what's been delivered.

1. Scope
This policy covers payments made through kunaldabi.com for services provided by KD Digital — including monthly retainers (single-location, multi-location, franchise), one-time audits, strategy calls, and custom invoices. Payments are processed by Razorpay.
2. 14-day satisfaction review (new engagements)
For every new monthly retainer, the first 14 calendar days are a "satisfaction review window." During this window:
- If you're not satisfied with the quality, scope, or fit, you may cancel and request a refund of any retainer time that hasn't been worked.
- Deliverables already produced (audit reports, citation work in flight, content drafts, technical recommendations) remain yours to keep.
- Refund issued as pro-rata of the monthly retainer minus work done. Example: cancel on day 7 of a $1,500/month engagement → refund of approximately $1,500 × (23/30) = $1,150, assuming no major deliverables have shipped.
2.1 One-time payments (audits, calls)
One-time productized services follow different rules:
- Strategy calls: 100% refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. No refund for no-shows; reschedule within 7 days is fine.
- Paid audits: 100% refund if requested before the audit has started (typically within 24 hours of payment). Once testing begins (50 prompts × 12 engines starts running), no refund — but you keep the partial findings.
3. After day 14 (ongoing retainers)
Once we're past the satisfaction window, the engagement is month-to-month. You may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice (sent to [email protected]). During the notice period, work continues normally; no further refund applies because the current month's work has been performed.
4. What is not refundable
- Work that has already been performed and delivered (citations placed, reviews managed, content published, schema deployed, reporting cycles completed, AI Overview / GEO citations earned).
- Pass-through ad spend already paid to Google / Meta / LSA (these go directly to the platform, not to KD Digital).
- Third-party tool subscriptions (BrightLocal, Local Falcon, Ahrefs, etc.) if I purchased a seat specifically for your account on your behalf.
- Engagements terminated for cause (fraudulent chargeback, abusive conduct, withholding access we need to do the work, or providing false information to KYC).
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the same email used at checkout, with:
- Your Razorpay payment ID (from the confirmation email).
- The reason for the refund request.
- Whether you'd like to discuss adjusting scope first (often a 15-minute call resolves the underlying concern faster than a refund cycle).
I respond to refund requests within 1 business day and process approved refunds within 3–5 business days.
6. Processing timeline
Once approved and submitted to Razorpay:
- Cards: 5–7 business days to appear on the original card statement.
- UPI / NetBanking: 3–5 business days back to the source account.
- International cards: 7–10 business days, depending on issuing bank.
The refund is always returned to the original payment method — Razorpay does not allow refunds to a different card or account.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a dispute, please contact me first — almost every refund-able situation gets resolved by email faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without first contacting KD Digital is considered a breach of these terms and may result in the engagement being terminated and a debt-collection process initiated for any work performed in good faith.
8. Currency & conversion
Refunds are issued in the same currency you paid in (USD, EUR, GBP, or INR). If your card was charged in a different currency than your settlement currency (e.g., you paid in USD but your bank settled in INR), a small conversion delta of 0.5–2% is possible — this is the issuing bank's spread, not a KD Digital deduction.
